I shoot on film. Digital when the work calls for it.

I’m Calvin Koukoui, a film photographer based in Barcelona. I work with brands, hotels and individuals on portraits, editorials, and events across Europe and worldwide.

Film changes the atmosphere of a session. With no screen to pause at and review, the photographer and the subject stay in the same space, focused on the same thing. The images that come back are a direct result of that attention.
